Local Authority Fees

 Please be aware that when requesting work to be done on a new or existing headstone, Local Authority’s in most cases will charge a Cemetery Fee before any work can be carried out. By selecting Heritage Memorials as your desired stone masons to carry out your requested work, we will include these fees in our final pricing so that you don’t have to organise anything with the authority running the cemetery you desire to have the work done at.

In some Local Authority areas, the cemetery fee might also be waivered if for example a person is under the age of 18. Please contact us so we can double check for you to save you having to pay for something that might be entitled to you for free.

Below is a list of what you could expect to pay alone for the cemetery fees which excludes final costs from our end. We’ll do our best to keep it up to date though take note that prices can change at a Local Authority’s discretion.
